Domain reg. says success all the time but nothing happen

Since the Update from friday i can not register any domain. If i create a domain as admin or with customer account it says all the time success account created also if the contact details of the account has wrong format for telephone or something else it says success but nothing is done.

If i click on synchronize domain, for a domain that is not created it says success there a no difference between HostBill and Domain registrar, don´t know if i alone with this or if this can be a other problem.

So i don´t know what to do now .. i have backups so i think if it is not working anymore i go back to last version.

Im having this problem as well and I did not updated.

This is not related to the update, its a bug in hostbill which I already reported. Its not cleaning characters before sending the command via the API, regardless if which registrar you have, they will not accept some characters in domain registrations.

Example is using º in the phone, or ó in a name.

Hostbill does not properly clean, check the customer profile and make sure his contact details only use numbers and letter. No weird characters. If this is the error you are having I advise you to vote this in the bug tracker so it gets higher priority. This bug affects any registrar module you use, since all of them does not allow strange characters in domain registrations.

the problem here are not the vowels like ÖÄ this was only a example. The problem is that every Domain shows success and nothing is done. Normally if customer has a wrong format for phone it gives back a error that the used format is wrong, as example the fomrat must be +49 12345 or 49.1234 if customer than use 01234 it normaly gives back a error and this also for all other things that must be correct but now it seems to be that this is no more checked and if i click on "create domain" HostBill shows me a sucess and that the domain is created but it is not and this is the problem.

HostBill has the domain than as activated and i can also click on sync domain and there HostBill should give back a error because the domain never registerd by registrar, but it shows the message "no differences between HostBill and registrar" but the domain dosen´t exists so there must be a difference but HB says all ok.

So to say it again i can register domains and all get status created but they never created for all the time and bevor the update i don´t have this problem

i have also a bug reported for vowels problem like ÄÖÜ but this is not the problem from now

Are they created in the registrars?

What exactly do you get when you click sync?

Did you checked the hostbill errors logs?

that is the problem they never created at the registrar, only HB says created successfully.

There are no errors on HB error log, also can´t because all actions says sucess

Doman sync shows "no differences between HostBill and registrar" but the domain is never created at the registrar so it is only in DB of HostBill but HostBill still says there are no differences

What do you mean shows no differences? Are they any dates under Automation queue?

I did not upgraded yet, so I cannot confirm if this is a bug in the latest release of its an isolated issue.

Maybe someone else that upgraded can confirm this, in that case its a serious issue.

if i go to "Orders & Accounts" and click on domains, i get the list of all Domains than there is the option to click the button for sync domains. if i select a domain and click on sync i get this:

Synchronized: #XXX - domain.tld, no differences between HostBill and registrar

but the synchronized domain that i selectet is not existing on the registrar system. The Domain is still created only on HostBill DB

Which module do you use for this? Did you made any changes, besides the update?

I use the CPS DMC-3 Module. I have nothing changed before and after the update.

I see, well since I don´t use this, I can´t comment to be honest.

Try re uploading your hostbill files or doing the upgrade again. If this does not work, then contact both Hostbill and the registrar and maintains this module.

Please confirm whether the modernpanel is included in the modules folder of the hostbill_version4.6.4.zip file you d/l'd from kbkp - NOT whether it exists on the exploded version you installed on your server.

Feel free to post the output from that last command HERE so we can check it

If you followed my directions above it won't reveal any information you need to redact other than perhaps the logged in user, which you can remove by omitting either the u and or the g arguments from the tree command.

Problem is fixed now. This caused by URL Change that i have made from https to http and forget to change this in the DMC-3 Modul (sorry for all the trouble) and this is why there was no more connection to my robot. It was the same URL! Only the change between http / https has broke all that.

But what confusing me is that there is no error on reg. Domain in Clientarea or on admin side that the connection fails or something else.

So now it's not a breakage - you've confirmed a bug - that hostbill will show success w/o the benefit of having a success exit code or whatever is sent back from the registrar - that is really really really bad, and really shoddy work.

Don't spend anymore money having kbkp build crappy modules for you, and have them fix the bug for free.
