Hello,

When proxmox suspend VM, the vm suspension mark as successful in hostbill even when the VM is not suspended and still running.

Hostbill dont stop the vm inside proxmox so the client still can use his vm.

Only me having this issue? Any workaround?

Hi,

What version of the software are you using?  Also, is this a new issue or always has this problem?

Do you see anything in the logs to say communication has failed?
Kind regards,

This issue have been there for a months. Not faced that before.
I use the last version of hostbill. I assume I also have the last version of proxmox module.

I just made another test.
The module create VM and I start the VM. Then when I send suspend command inside hostbill, I see hostbill remove the user permission from the VM but it doesn't send a stop command to the VM. So the VM still running and the client can use it.

But terminate Account send a stop and destory command.

When you update HostBill, provisioning modules are not updated automatically.  So you will need to re-download from hostbilapp.com to ensure you have the latest version.

If you do have latest version, there could be a couple of reasons for the issue:

1. Genuine bug in the provisioning module.
2. For some reason, some of the modules functions work on scheduled tasks.  (Read supports documents for information about correct operation).

Post back here when you have checked versions and operation instructions.

I have downloaded and unziped re-uploaded to the server.

No luck.. when I click on suspend it does not send a stop command. It just remove user permission.
Clicking on Terminate work without issues. It send stop and destroy command to proxmox.

This could well be a bug in the module and I would seek some verification with other people in the community to see if they are experiencing the same issue with PROXMOX.

If there is a bug confirmed, you will need to log a bug report with KBKP - this is free if you are willing to wait a long time for a fix or $75 if you want this fixed a lot quicker - usually 1-2 weeks.  If you find other people in the community with the same issue, you could consider dividing the cost of a fast fix.

Apologies - I do not use this module I was trying to offer help.

Maybe some others in the community may have the same issue and can assist?
