Hello
I would like to include a new button offering upgrades for a single service .

Is there  a way to send the customer to the upgrades screen for his this via a direct URL??

Many Thanks

BRJP

I am not quite sure what you are asking for but Ill try to respond.

I simulated creating an upgrade (acted as a client would) and then copied the link from the upgrade page and placed into an email.  The link looked something like:

https://www.microsoft.com/myportal/?/clientarea/services/e-mail/21/&make=upgrades&upgradetarget=service

Was this what you meant?
Kind regards,

Yes this is exactly what I mean.

This particular Hostbill instance has 2 plans one is free and the other is paid . I would like to place a upgrade button within different parts of the client area if the client has a free plan.

Do you know what informantion i need to include in the URL is that  21 in the URL a product or account ID?

?/clientarea/services/e-mail/21/&make=upgrades&upgradetarget=service

Thank you very much

BRJP

I have had a look and cannot work out what the 21 is!

I setup a test product and enabled upgrades.  I signed in as a test customer, purchased the product and then upgraded it.  This is the link I copied and pasted.  However, looking at the back-end, I do not know what the 21 refers to.  It could be something with pro-rata billing?  (I could not see it linked to the email product nor the client ID).

It seems 21 is the account ID, If I wanted to create the link I suppose it would be something like

clientarea/services/{$orderpage}/{$accountid}/&make=upgrades&upgradetarget=service

ill give that a try
