Hello

Questions about IP management before I buy.

I guess hostbill gives the IP management as addon for Proxmox- so the VM has assigned IP from the pool and unique MAC address - but the proxmox does not give the automatic setting up it on the KVM???

I need to be sure before I buy the addon.

1. Does IP management assign MAC address to the VM?
2. Does IP managment assign dhcp server for KVM`s and each new created KVM will automatically get the IP/hostname and DNS settings from DHCP?

It doesn't assign the ip to the kvm vps, client still has to assign the ip statically if you do not have a dhcp server setup to do it for you. Whmcs has some nice proxmox modules from http://www.modulesgarden.com/products/whmcs/proxmox_vps/features  They also have a ip manager setup and bandwith tracker in the advance module I would love to see a update to the proxmox module for hostbill to show a few ip choices as we have ipv6 and ipv4 setup hostbill doesn't see the ipv6 in the interface for proxmox you have to add it from the ipam module. Also some bandwidth tracking would be nice so we can charge by transfer limits.
