"template_empty" error message

Hi,

I'm a HostBill user and also new to this forum. Well up until now I have been using WHMCS, however as I had a HB license from long ago I wanted to make use of it now.
Well, I bought my license before 2013-05-26, when all hosting modules, orderpages, client area themes etc. became a paid add-on.
I've managed to even find an old file "hostbill_version4.4.6.zip" on my hard drive, so that should technically have everything in it anyway.

I can install a fresh HB without any problems, however I keep on getting a "template_empty" error message so I can't add any order pages, and as you know without the order pages nothing works.

Has anyone had the same problem before on a new install? How can I fix it please?
On my download page on HostBill it does state:
"Note: All Hosting Modules, Orderpages, Client area themes that were free up to 2013-05-26 are included in your HostBill download package.
Separate downloads are not required"

I only found one thread here with this problem, but the op solved the problem by installing from an old HB file and then upgrading to the latest version. I've done that and it still doesn't work.

I would be really grateful if someone can help me out.

Thanks!

As far as I know you have to install 4.5.8 and then follow the upgrade path to 4.9.8+

Support tickets are still $75.00 afaik so you can pay kbkp to open one of those and ask him for permission to download all of the modules (i.e., cPanel and everything else) and order pages on a onesie-twosie basis.

Based on observations in this forum, Support tickets are generally responded to by kbkp in five to nine days, if ever. It seems that kbkp usually just closes the paid trouble ticket w/o any other response whatsoever.

Good luck.
