The error I'm getting is, "Unable to load / locate class slider", but I have the file at <DocumentRoot>/includes/libs/configoptions/slider/class.slider.php

Any ideas? I want to try this out.

UPDATE: Truly bizarre....

Okay this morning I was looking through the plugins/modules again and saw the HBSlider module again in the uninstalled modules. so I went and looked at the ones that are installed and there it was.... in both places!

So I went and installed it again (Now I have two installled).

The error code reported was two-fold now. One, the same as above, and the other:

Module name changed

Okay then...

the file listed in "this newly installed HBSlider is "Version: 1.0                                                             Filename: class.hbslider.php"

I clicked on manage and lo and behold it comes up LOL. I'm going to play with it a little later. I'll report back on anything else interesting.
