quoting tickets generates random quotes from other tickets by other customers

Is anyone else experiencing this?

You are looking at a ticket, and click on 'quote', and then instead of quoting what they wrote it quotes either one of your own ticket responses from a completely different ticket and customer, or a quote from a completely different customer from a different ticket?

It happens on and off to me and drives me nuts!

With HostBill it's just one more sucky nightmare bug after another!

There's are zillions of bug reports there. Many remained there in the official bug reporting area on kbkp's hostbillapp.com forums for years without ever being attended to, and dozens of existing bugs in the system have been sitting, seemingly ignored, since the new fake bugtracker was launched.

For those reasons, I tend to report bugs there very sparingly...

  • When I am sure it is a bug and is confirmed by intense testing on my part and/or others have confirmed it
  • When it is of enough concern to the community and/or a significant impact on operations that involve revenue or mission critical functionality
Right now, I'm simply asking around to gather input from others about this matter. kbkp himself has said that he'll take action against people who SPAM his fake bugtracker, so I like to make very sure it is indeed a bug and not something that I can correct myself.
But thanks for the suggestion :)
