Pricing of 4.90 or 8.80 gets + 0.01

Since HB 4.9.2 i have also problems with some prices. I have products with a price of 4.90 and 8.80 and both jumps to 4.91 and 8.81 since Version 4.9.2 and is still there in version 4.9.4. The Database has the correct prices but HostBill does it wrong and the invoices a created also with this wrong prices.

At this time i can see this effects not only domain prices. The strange thing is that some prices like 5.90 has no problem but if  you have 4.90 or 8.80 it gets + 0.01

I reported this problem a while ago and opened a bug report too. My $10 price becomes $10.01.

But the difference is that i not using metered billing it effects on Domain prices and other products without metered billing. But i voted your bug report also up in hope they do something to fix this

Billing and reporting in HostBill is a travesty at best on any day. I'm still trying to figure out why when one of my customers applied her credit to an invoice does it and then still shows she has the same amount of credit - but that's on another thread here so I'll prolly revisit that later today and see if anyone has some advice for me.

I know it's not the exact same issue but I'm sure it started at 4.8.4 for you as well?

It's the rounding somewhere with the storage/display setting.

i had this problem first time with the 4.9.2 release, before it works without any problems or i realized it first on 4.9.2 don´t know

In the Bugtracker my Bug was marked as fixed in Version 4.9.8. At this time the update to 4.9.8 is not online so i can not test if it is really fixed. The update should be online in the next hours than i will test if it is fixed and than i report it here.

The Problem is really fixed but i had to edit all prices that have + 0.01 manually to the right price and then it worked!

It's still broken for metered plans. Below example is with PowerDNS metered billing.

The same thing happens with OnappCDN metered billing and I assume with any other metered plans. These are the 2 modules I use for metered billing.

For the regular prices this is fixed, to metered i can´t say anything because at this time i don´t use it but there is still a bug report open for metered billing in the bugtracker so maybe this is why this is not fixed at this time!?
