running 4.7.2 and havent upgraded for a while. But Ive noticed ticket notifications are no longer being sent out to clients, and other email related stuff is unreliable. Soooo...  thinking of going straight to 4.9.0 ....

what do you think?

nah - did it manually, autoupdate has never worked , and to be honest I wouldnt want it too! Manual upgrade went OK - still got everything I should have :)

Kewl. You did the upgrade over several versions in one fell swoop no problem?


Or did you go through the upgrade process for each new version and then the next?

straight to the 4.9 no intermediate upgrades. Obviously backed up the db and files & folders first :)
