I've been nagged by this bug for well over a year now. It's really important to us that this function correctly. I've actually submitted yet another bug report to kbkp software regarding this in the new so-called bug tracking system. I opened a couple of tickets over a year ago, and those tickets, even after being reopened, went without any response.

Then I opened another detailed bug report in the forums after I was directed to do by Kris, in order to officially report bugs, and still, no response, even though I continually updated the bug report after verifying that it still existed with each new release of HostBill.

The link to the bug report I just opened in the new bug reporting system at kbkp is here:

http://help.hostbillapp.com/index.php?/bugtracker/bug/&id=23

It would really be helpful if folks could head on over and vote it up - it's a really old bug and needs to finally be squashed LOL.

In short, here's the jist of it (you can check it yourself on your own systems too).

Estimates - Line items do not wrap in the PDF files at all stages of Estimates, other bugs too such as blank image map place-holders and company logos not appearing on the online HTML versions of the Estimates.

HostBill versions verified as having these bugs: 3.2.4, 4.0.4, 4.3.6, 4.5.0, 4.5.2, 4.5.4, 4.5.6, 4.5.8

The PDF bug renders the Estimates / Quotes that we send out to customers basically worthless because all of the line items overwrite the other columns and run right off the end of the page.

Any help that any of you can offer would be really appreciated, since this is a big part of our sales process in more areas than one :)

Details / Particulars:

1.) Online HTML version of Estimates:

a.) Company Logo is not present - only company name

b.) Two image map place holders in top left portion
of estimate (I don't know what they're supposed
         to be.

Please refer to images of online HTML version below to see exactly how this appears.

2.) PDF version of Estimates (most critical bug in Estimates)

a.) Line items run right off the end of the page of the
rendered PDF file, overwriting the "Taxed", "Unit cost",
         "Qty", and "Price" column items.

b.) This makes the Estimates / Quotes completely worthless
to the customer since they can't even read the prices
or the line item descriptions in the PDF versions.

c.) Once the quote is converted into an invoice, everything
is as it should be. This problem exists in all phases
of the Estimate, i.e., "draft", "sent", etc.

Please see the images below of PDF version for examples of exactly how this appears.

Again, any help anyone can offer, maybe even a workaround, would be greatly appreciated. I'm all ears on this one people :)

Hm... I might need some pointers on how to resize those so they fit on the page. Sorry 'bout that.

Maybe a mod could fix that and I can go back later and see just how to utilize the size= parameter or whatever works?

EDIT: I fixed that issue with the "width=" parm after looking it up in the BB Code reference :)

Voted this one up, great report! I wish we could at least add notes to these bug reports on the HostBill bug report website so we could link to this report. Regardless, hope it gets fixed soon.

A Spade is a Spade.

Unless I'm missing something fundamental that I'm supposed to do post update to HostBill 4.6.0....

That guys a filthy fricken' liar!!!!!!!

I would like to express a big thank you to everyone who took the time to vote up the bug report at kbkp, even though it seems they lied in the changelog saying that this bug was fixed.

Other than a really nice desktop you got there, that stinks. Shouldn't mark bugs fixed if they're not fixed.
