I am thankful I found this forum as Kris seems to be the only guy working at HostBill and I purchased several modules and installation and configuration service, but no work was done and it has been a year.   I have the full, unbranded version of Hostbill and purchased the premium (paid) VMware 5 module.  I have Hostbill installed and functioning correctly, but I need to get the VMware module configured and working.  Has anybody got it working?  I only need basic functionality, auto provisioning would be great, and the ability to power off/on virtual machines.  I am willing to pay somebody if they can assist or do it for me as a consultant.  Please message me.
Separately, I have a question, can existing VMs be imported into Hostbill to manage?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

The VMware 4, as well as the so-called "Premium" VMware 5, and vCloud modules are included in hostbill already if you've actually been a customer for over a year - so if you paid for it, you got ripped off.

The only people that have to pay for those modules are people that are, or were,  stupid enough to buy HostBill from version 4.6.0 and onward.

It works. Look around the forum. I posted a couple of help tuts w/pics too so you can get it off the ground.

But considering you've owned HostBill prior to version 4.5.8.... You paid for something that is already included.

You can do a chargeback if you're still within the acceptable time frame with your credit card.

I hope that helps :)

Thanks BlackRider, let me know what you find.
Tallship, thanks for the info, hostbillapp.com barely has any info.  I have owned it for a while and paid for installation and configuration but never received it.  Then Kris told me I needed to purchase that and it would work.  Still doesn't.  Thanks for the info, I think I will do that charge back.  I can't believe it is this hard to get support from them/him even when I have paid for it (paid for installation and configuration of the module).
Any good links on the VM 5 config?

Believe it. There's no support, as you have unfortunately found out about the hard way.

Occasionally, someone still pays kbkp for a license because the website makes it look so kewl and the unwitting buyer says, "Wow, with all that, those existing customers must be exagerating"... Then things unfold pretty much exactly the way it has for you.

You actually gave that guy root access to your machine? Nevermind. I don't care. It's none of my business. But I do recommend that next time, you might consider coming here and paying someone who is actually in the service business to perform the services for you.

Here's one of the links. There are others, and you can use the search features in the forum to find them or google, which will point you right back here.
