What is the point of this. He doesn't understand that the questions we are asking for that price have already been asked by others. =D The issues just never get resolved in timely manner.

you mean the fact he instead of raising the price from $599 to $799 he thinks removing the helpdesk now and charging $199 some how hides the price increases.  It'd be another story if hostbill had integration like WHMCS for other software like Kayako.  What a joke

Next, he's going to...

1. Split up all the payment gateways.
2. Create a "Clients" plugin.
3. Create a module to be able to "Install Modules"
4. Create a module that links you to a php info page.
5. Create a module that allows you to activate your license of HostBill.

Sorry for my absence on these forums, I've been fed up with HostBill. I do have some delight to present to the audiences of HostBill however, and that is I've been speaking with a Polish lawyer, and Kris is breaking laws left and right. More info to follow.

It's not priority, but I will make a post when I have time in regards to what's happening. Again, I'm in a pure apathetic state for HostBill. Run Away.

Well I can say that with everything that's gone on for almost a year now, it's taken all of the fun out of this business for me. I'm very, very close to wrapping it up and calling it quits. I still don't have a truly functioning HB, I stopped doing the "upgrades", and I use the term loosely, since v.4.6.0.

I'm tired of seeing HB and Kris go off the deep end with his lack of communication, erratic business moves and general don't-give-a-dung attitude to paid/paying customers. I don't have the energy to migrate to another billing platform. Who know, I might wake up tomorrow and just send out notices to my clients telling them that I will close the business at the end of this year, offer them some compensation on unused months past that and be done with it all. I have other parts of the business that keep me busy and don't require this much headache.

I started in 2010 and v.2.4 of HB. It looked great then, worked great for about 1.5 years then took a serious nose-dive into dung. Doesn't look like it's going to recover anytime soon.

I hated reading this because it's a testament that Kris is literally ruining other businesses. I'm sorry to hear you lose all interest in your business and hope it works out for the better. If you need some advice, feel free to ask the community and I'm sure a lot of people would be more than happy to point you to some great alternatives / plans of action.

It left me unable to force a response when I first read it too. It really saddens me.

You and I have backup plans and plenty of assets to fall back on, it's people that really want to get into this industry with a shoestring budget I feel bad for when this stuff happens.

I've already sent notices to my existing hosting clients that effective 10/1 I will no longer take new clients for hosting purposes and will close that part of the business at the end of the year. I have other aspects of my business that will still utilize hosting so I'll keep my servers for that, but will close new signups to the general public. I'll be shopping around for another billing/hosting platform to replace HB by year's end.

All of the shenanigans by Kris & HB over the past year, worrying day and night if one morning I'll wake up and the licensing server has shut down and closed me off from my billing platform, dealing with a piece of software that I rely on to run smoothly and trouble-free once set has not materialized in MANY upgrades....these are the things that led me to this outcome.

Shame on you, Kris. I'm sure you sleep perfectly fine at night, prick.
