Is there a way to view all unread posts since last visit with this forum software?

Seconded - please add a new posts button, I dont have enough time to go looking for items that may be new. I also dont want to look for it per forum area either (as there is a button for that).

I'll just make it a global setting by default, and others can adjust accordingly.

I'll followup here when the recent posts have been added to the links in the header.

Okay so the post content settings cannot be changed through SMF for all users, this would have to be run as a query in the database. Unfortunately I don't think I can set it as a default setting, but all users may make this change in their notification preferences in their profile.

In regards to the links, I'll be able to get these up soon.
