Cron job issue

I can't seem to get my cron job to work properly..

I set up the cron job to manually email me the error which I get this via email.

Could not create lock file: /home/virtfs/_lock/519

I have done the following.

• added the cron in cpanel
• add file permissions

which neither has effect

What operating system and control panel are you using?

Centos 6 / WHM/cpanel

I think I fixed it by removing the file /home/virtfs
