Not A BUG - [Client Groups] Some settings are not saved

Danny

For me this problem you can see on my screenshot is still present. Also for me the overwriting of auto create setting has no effect.

But the bug is now closed and there comment says they can not replicate this ... nice ...

Only this http://www.hostbillforums.com/index.php/topic,107.msg700.html#msg700 has worked for me to fix the problem temporary and without doing this, there is no chance to save the settings

Maybe you have to give them step by step instructions to replicate the bug as it seems they do not know how to test this fully.

Maybe they need a real bug-tracker instead of a single comment system. That way, it can actually be tracked, and when whomever the issue has been assigned to (There's only one person at kbkp anyway) can't duplicate the issue, more details can be added, and/or other people experiencing the issue can also elaborate - instead of some stupid OSQA like popularity tally.

Yeah, check that link out... ;) Does it look familiar? LOL.

Dear Mods/Admin ;)

i don't think, with respect to the link Danny provided, that marking a thread as solved should actually close that thread to new posts. There may be other valuable contributions to the thread even after an issue has been solved, even considering that this particular solution is merely a kludge. i.e., This thread is actually an extension of the previous thread which can no longer accept new posts, is relevant to that thread, but there is no continuity from that thread to this one as a result, and that required Danny to create this thread to report that kbkp closed the bug report w/o fixing the issue - something that should prolly have been able to have been posted in the previous thread, IMO.

Is there a way to mark threads as solved w/o them being locked?

Also, the checkmark doesn't translate to anything when a google search is performed (I don't think), so even when the thread comes up in a search it doesn't say [Solved] or anything really useful to the person searching for a solution other than a hit on the topic itself.

Just my two cents ;)

Kindest regards,
