VMware 5 - How to allow customer to configure VM resources via the order page???

Okay so another user here posted a question about getting the vmware5 module to work. I hope my post to him was helpful in that thread.

This thread, however, deals with just how I can enable the customer to pick and choose their resources when ordering their server.

The screenshot of the applicable features within the vmware5 app are listed in the screenie below. I'll ask the specific questions after that.

  • Guest OS and path to iso file: I want the order page to select the appropriate OS and iso file automatically, when the customer chooses the Operating System from my order page.
  • Number of processors: I can set up the options for the customers to choose from between 1 and 16 cores on the order page, but I want to pass that through to this module from the order page so that the machine is deployed with this number of CPU cores.
  • Size of Virtual Machine's Memory: The same thing here as with item #2 above - I want them to be able to select between 256MB RAM and 128GB RAM (I realize that I have to incorporate additional logic to prevent users from choosing some OSes w/not enough RAM, but don't know how to do that either).
  • Size of a Virtual Machine's Disk: I can live w/o having an option for the client to choose multiple disks, but I want them to be able to choose their disk size based on their prerogative from the order pages.
I've chosen the "onestep_cloud" order page, as it is very nice looking and lays out the configurable options for the user in a really effective easy to understand manner. Although that's the order page I've chosen to use, most of that functionality should be available on just about any order page.
How can I implement this w/o creating 500 frickin' order pages to stupify the customer, resulting in sensory overload? I want one single order page to do this.

Hello,

Thank you for replay. It's so hard to complete the connection to the server. Mine looks like this, please see attachment. I also tested the connections and it said sucess.
