Hello,

I was trying to setup vmware 5. When I try to create the VM, I got this error,

PHP [Error]: Call to a member function QueryConfigTarget() on a non-object IN includes/modules/Hosting/vmware5/lib/vmware_create_vm.php(90)

What's wrong with the module?

Post some screenshots of how you set this up so we can take a look and see how you've set this up.

The first thing you should enter is the vCenter server for your vSphere. then, you should test that connection - this is done when you install the module.

Next, you set up the order pages and choose the VMware5 app, you'll hit the test connection button and you should see that vCenter server pop up, with the various options for all of the ESXi hosts it manages.

I'll post a quick screenie so you can get an idea.

NOTE: I have a couple of questions too - Mine are in GREEN in the image below :)

No success. I have same issue. Here is a screenshot.

You have "[datastore1] images/20"

It should be a complete path to the iso file for that windows disk.

i.e., "[datastore1] images/20/windows.iso"

Hello,

Thanks for replay. the path is correct as my iso image name is 2008.iso

That's why you see only 20.

As Bradley stated, you need the complete path to the ISO; so in your case it should be [datastore1] images/20/2008.iso

Cheers!

The path is correct. It's not 20 as shown .

Here is my complett path:

[datastore1] Images/2008.iso

tallship to add this ability for your customers to select the OS during order you must go and edit (lets say VPS 128) product then go to components Tab -> forms tab -> Add new form field -> Dropdown -> premade fields   and select Operating System :)
Have fun :))
P.S. my first impression was that i had to create each and every product with different OS's but that was NOT possible :) BTW you can charge for lets say w!nd0ws setup or any other OS you want to and you can give the price in the form that you will create!
