Hello David,

Two Questions:

#1) Are you a new customer to HostBill (since May 26th, 2013)?

#2) If yes to #1, did you buy any orderpages?

Hi thetrusteeco,

I use hostbill since 1 April 2013.
When I'm using HB 4.6.2 can use hostbill without purchasing order page.
Any link that may I can read?

Thanks for your help ;)

david

Hi,

This is solved by reinstalling version 4.5.2 and use auto upgrade plugin to get latest hostbill feature.
I've read hostbill information regarding price changed :)

Thank you.

I believe you should have been able to do that from 4.5.8, right? wouldn't that be the most complete version of HostBill?

I think the autoupgrade would just grab the latest version and do a straight upgrade form 4.5.2, and you may be missing all of the updates included in between 4.5.2 and 4.5.8.

Look for modernpanel theme and a couple of other things that were added since 4.5.2 to make sure. I'm interested in knowing.

Is that the modulesgarden zimbra module?

If so, was it working prior to your latest update to 4.6.x?

Hi Tallship,

Yes, correct. zimbra module from modulesgarden, now I'm waiting them to fix this issue.
Anyway I never use this module on HB 4.6.xx so I can't answer your question :d

Thank you..

Let us know how responsive they are okay? I'm sure everyone is interested in what kind of support they will provide their customers.

Also, the reason I asked was because kbkp has said that users from 4.6.0 and on are not allowed to use 3rd party modules whatsoever, unless they write them for themselves. So I know a lot of people are interested in finding out whether kbkp is intentionally breaking hostbill by design when third party modules are used.

Do you mean support from modulesgarden? if yes I think they have problem or heavy load with their jobs because my ticket is opened since few days ago and still open until today, or may be they are still trying to fix something, who know?

Yes modulesgarden, that's exactly what I'm interested in knowing.

When I open a trouble ticket of any sort. I fully expect *some* kind of response within a day, regardless of what kind of product or service it is. With some products, I expect much quicker responses, but a day is pretty much the limit of what I'm willing to afford any provider - even free providers.

Just think about for a minute, being a provider of Internet services, what your customers would think if you let them stew over something for more than 24hrs.

We Just don't let that happen here, because it would mean that we don't provide service to our customers or care about them.

The exception is billing. We only deal with billing department issues during regular business hours Monday through Friday, and not on holidays either, but that's a totally separate concept.

Occasionally, I'll get the errant email directly to my email box from a customer who thinks the ticket system is there for looks, and so, after two or three days I'll open a ticket on their behalf, pasting their email(s) into the ticket, and answering with a single question - "Are you still having this issue?" - and deal with it strictly within the ticket system itself. My personal email address is not a support channel, generally speaking, and is not monitored by my support staff.

So you've had a ticket open with modulesgarden for a few days now with no response, on a software package that you paid them for, which includes support, and you're not sure it ever worked at all? That's not a promising outlook for customers looking for a vendor.
