Occasionally Paypal payments are not captured

Hello,

Recently Paypal payments are not captured, I have checked payment gateway log and the result for that specific transaction is "Successfull".  I have resent notification via Paypal IPN but the same result  invoice status is still unpaid. What could trigger this problem and where to check ?
