Domain registration and whois error

I been out of the game with hostbill for a few years but im back and my head is killing me for the past few days.
I have searched alsmost every page on this forum and google and it just keep getting worse, i hope someone or everyone can help me :)

Here is my scenario and im using the latest version of hostbill.

1. domain ordering works from the domain cart template/page which is awesome.
2. when ordering a product/hosting service and the option to register a domain, i keep getting errors for the same domains that are available on the domain registration only template (#1 above)

Here are some of the errors im receiving.

1. Whois service for .HOST is not available
2. Supplied TLD is incorrect

Jah knows i would really appreciate any help or suggestion as im about to loose my mind. I decided to quit whmcs because of the lack of support when i paid.

Hi,

I had a look and could see the issue when ordering a domain when purchasing a hosting package.  I then went back to the main domain page and tried to order from there but it said my domain was NOT AVAILABLE.   There is no way that sdkfejfijfsdjhfis3 .host is not available (!) so something is not configured correctly.  See attached screenshot.

It could be that the lookup registrar  (http://whois.nic.host) is not responding properly for HostBill.  When I went to that link it was asking for a human check - not sure if this is what is causing the issue?

Thank you for your help and most of all taking the time to check. I will dig deeper and also edit the whois.php.
Will update this thread once i find a solution

Why would the domain register page show a domain available but when buying a product it only search/query with no results.
I find this rather odd.
