Linking HostBill to an Account already Setup (like PLESK or Domains)

Dear All,

On occasion, we have PLESK accounts or Domains setup at the supplier or registrar which are not in HostBill.

If you have an account in PLESK (and not in HostBill) or a domain in your registrar (but not in HostBill) whats the best way to add the account and synchronise?

We have done this a few times but its a bit messy and cannot quite work out the most efficient way to link HostBill to PLESK/Domains.

Hi,

There is an option in Extras -> Import Accounts for which you would first need to configure the product/service. Although, I am not sure how nicely it does the job but you can give it a shot.

Thank you - this worked like a treat.  However, once they are imported, you need to perform a manual sync once to get all the details in line with HostBill.  Otherwise the the Client Portal contains errors.  Apart from that, it worked OK.

Good that it worked ok for you. I am not sure when was the Import feature updated last...maybe you can submit a bug report for the issues you did face.
