textfield in order form

Dear all,

I'd like to add a simple text field inside an order form with a pre-filled text inside. I know I can manipulate the order form in the components section, but I just find text fields where the customer must/can add a text inside. But I'd like this text field not to be editable, like for a description field. The components section doesn't seem to offer that.

Is there a way to do that through Hostbill, which I missed?

Nobody ever experienced the need to add some text inbetween order form components?

It's just such a pain in the class act that KP Software doesn't offer a simple support service for such little questions, for customers paying them thousands of $ already.

That's unique in this world.

The only way I have added extra text is by editing the page - i.e. actually going into the Smarty code and making customisations.
