Offer payment in installments?

Hi,

Does anyone knows if it's possible to setup payment in installments? I would like to offer my clients to pay for services in installments - 6 or 12 monthly payments. Thereafter I would give them full access or service.

To clarify your question:  You mean a client orders a service from you, they receive the invoice and then they want to pay  the invoice in installments either 6mo or 12 mo or whatever installments.

After the invoice is fully paid then you will provide the service.

Yes, that's correct... I would also need to clearly state which installment is being paid on the invoice (for an example: 2/6 - second installment of six all together). Currently I can add monthly plan and change it after 183 days (6 months) to one time payment. But that isn't quite right solution, as I can't add on invoices which installment was paid.

Basically I think you would have to handle the situation manually, I don't think there is any way to automate the process of adding installment # to an invoice.  I think you would have to have HB generate the new invoice but don't send it automatically to the customer.  Then go to the invoice and the click on the more actions button and use the edit notes to add the installment # in the notes section of the invoice.

After you've made the changes you can send the invoice to the customer.

Thanks... I think custom plugin would need to be developed for this. Maybe hostbill will make something like that in future.
