Can you only show certain Payment Modules for specific products?

Dear All,

We have 4 payment modules within HostBill that clients can select during the Order Process. (PayPal, Direct Transfer, Direct Debit and Pre-Order)

For some of our services, it is not appropriate to use some of the payment modules as taking payment up front is inappropriate until order has been verified.

Is there a way in HostBill where you can control what payment modules are shown for different services?  For example:

1. Hosting - All Payment Types
2. Pre-Orders - Only Pre-Order

In a similar vein, could they also be selective according to customer type?  For example, a new customer with no billing history might only have options for certain payment modules (paypal, credit card, etc).  Whereas an existing customer may be allowed more payment options (i.e. cheque, bank transfer, etc).

Hey, did you manage to get this to work?  Would be very useful for us for different order types

I did get a response from HostBill who were more than happy to commit to this piece of development and it would cost under $500 and be available to the whole community as a benefit.

However, we are still looking at alternative methods and our budget was being allocated elsewhere so we have deferred.

I thought this feature was already available, but i must had mixed whmcs and hostbill together...
Anyway, i would like to participate in this bounty if needed. We need more people.

I did work out something to make this work and also did post it earlier but, later on I found a few issues with it and had to remove the post.
