PayPal orders are "pending"

So, exactly what the topic name says.

I've been running some test purchases via HostBill, but whenever someone buys a package from PayPal, the order stays "Pending" and on PayPal, this is the message that is next to the transaction: http://prntscr.com/6evp6f

Any help?

I hate to post consecutively, but this is a very, very pressing matter. We can't launch the new client area without it, and it's hard to keep our clients calm.

OK - lets try some basic questions.

1. When you say test purchases, do you mean these are test BUT are live (real) purchases?  Or are you testing with the PayPal Sandpit/testing area?
2. When did this issue start?  i.e. Post an upgrade, post installation of PayPal module?
3. I assume that the PayPal account settings and configuration is correct in the HostBill module settings?
4. Is the transaction completed in PayPal?  i.e. does PayPal confirm the transaction as completed BUT HostBill is saying PENDING?

Lets start with the above and see if this gives me any clues.  Please be as detailed as possible in your response.

1. Yes. I'm using a different PayPal account to purchase the packages.
2. I set HostBill up, with the packages, basic configuration, template installation, PayPal module installation, etc. Then, I test purchased it, but that's what happened.
3. Definitely; I've checked multiple times.
4. It does say that it is completed; this is the message: [ http://prntscr.com/6fehz2 ]

We have just completed a purchase of a Domain (end to end) using paypal and the whole process worked perfectly and as expected.  Both at the PAyPal level and the HostBill integration level.


Do you have an option to record the process you are following so we can step through it with you?  It may help me understand.  Also, could you send me (via Private Message) your configuration details (screenshot) and Ill share with one of my developers.

Hi Lewis,

Did you manage to get it resolved? If not, just check if the Order Scenario for your order page is configured properly.

Goto "Products & Services" and edit the respective order page and see "Advanced: Order scenario". Note down what scenario is selected eg. "Default Scenario" and click on "?" which will take you to order scenarios configuration. Just click on the scenario for your order page and make sure that "Final manual review" checkbox is not selected.
