Affiliate Issue - Joining bonus does not get added to credit

Dear All,

We have enabled the feature to provide a small bonus for becoming an affiliate. 

However, once they join, we notice that the credit does not appear in the main dashboard as a credit. 

Does anyone have any experience here?  Are you meant to 'approve' the joining bonus?  Or is this a known issue?
