Cookies in Hostbill

Hi all.

We are trying to find out if Hostbill uses cookies to record session logged status.

On our main site we would like our login buttons to detect the status of whether the visitor is logged in to the client area or not and change to "sign out" etc.

Has anyone else managed to achieve this?

BRJP

HostBill does use cookies to detect sessions but I am not the person to ask on how to utilise them!

Perhaps a more cookie savvy member of the community can help you here.
Kind regards,
Bradley Porter

You'll need cookies enabled to properly use HostBill. HostBill doesn't have URL based sessions. The cookie is required to stay authenticated in the website.

You'll need to contact HostBill for cookieless sessions, but I don't think they'll do something like this. It would require re-working their entire authentication system.
