Ticket auto close function

Hi,

did anyone use the ticket auto close function and can tell me, if auto close only done if the ticket is in some status like "answered" or will it also close tickets that are on status "in work" or something else?

For example: You will let a ticket open for a longer time and you set the status to "in work" or something else, will this then also be automatically closed?

Hi Danny - I think this will only auto close tickets that a client has not responded too.

If the ticket is In-Progress then it will stay open until closed. If you have responded to a client and they do not answer for x days, then it will be closed and they will receive the auto-closure email.
