Hello,

Have anyone faced the same issues (see below description)?

We are using affiliate system to pay commissions. Recently we began to run into an issue with affiliate payouts or to be precise with using affiliate commissions money to pay off affiliate own invoices. Let's say one of our affiliate has 2x $80.00 approved commissions or $160.00 that he wants to apply to his invoice as usual. But he can't as his Current Balance is shown as $0.00. Besides, this month Commissions shows only $80.00 while on payouts tab it's clearly seen his payout has both entries, $80.00 each dated 11/30/14.

I consider this as a big mess and broken affiliate functionality. We are currently at Version: 2014-11-28:2014   . Honestly, I don't like to manually adjust a database as it may create even a bigger mess.

Any advise on what to do?

Thanks,

I think Kris is going to develop a new Affiliate script and leave us with the old one that doesn't work. It's happened with a few modules already sadly.

I've discontinued use of the affiliate script as it is genuinely broken and does not function as intended.

If all these issues keep ongoing we'll just start thinking of migrating over to WHMCS and hope to sell HostBill license to someone else who is not aware yet of the pure quality of this product. :-\

That's probably the intention. He's targeting businesses that intend to invest big in software. Large businesses, few clients.

There is an issue with his business model, so I'd suggest holding onto your license unless you're determined to migrate to WHMCS and sell out. I'm hoping he'll open up soon to people with lower budgets, HostBill is no UberSmith.
