Does Kris actually read these forums?

Hello,

I recently submitted a feature request, and have a few more that I'd like to submit.

However, I don't really understand the relationship of these forums with Kris (owner/dev of hostbill).  Does he actually read these forums?  Specifically, has he ever came here, read a feature request... and then implemented it?

I don't want to waste my time if these forums are just 3rd party only, and submitting a feature request here is akin to putting papers into the trash can.

To be honest, I expected to see a "submit feature request" link in the hostbill software itself.  How else are customers supposed to tell Kris what new features we want?  Are we really supposed to pay him for a support ticket just to tell him how to improve his software that we're already paid for?

???

I've been here for a while (longer than you have), and am very familiar with the hostbill and Kris' history.

However, that does not answer my question.  :)

Kris does read the forums, but he doesn't want to spend time maintaining one himself. He's essentially getting a free hosted community solution. Without these forums, there would be no way for users to communicate among their peers, so that's why these forums are up. He never planned on keeping a community up.

As far as implementing features, he's done a few, but most of which you have to pay for because he's only updating the paid modules. Sad, but it is what it is.
