Module Name: Domains DNS

Dear All,

In the modules section, we have "Module Name: Domains DNS".  It does have a description (Enable DNS Management....) but I am not sure if this adds any value when you are using OpenSRS for Domains with PLESK control panel.

Anyone have any ideas what this is for exactly?

I think it will make an client function in the client area where the domain details is called "DNS Management".

Clicking it, will redirect the client to a full width page with only the DNS Management module, where the client can edit the domains DNS, if the domain is auto-created in the nameservers.

This is not meant to be for domains attached to hosting packages, but rather VPS / Dedicated servers or domains not hosted on your host.

After enabling the DNS module, then you also need to activate it in "client functions" for each TLD, both register and transfer, to make it visible in the domain details menu. I suggest only enabling the module, and then offer the DNS service as a product. Its super confusing for shared hosting clients, since most use Plesk or Cpanel DNS management.
