HostBill Forums - slow when posting

Dear All,

When I post message it can sometimes be instant or take up to 30 seconds after pressing the Post button.

Does anyone else experience this issue?

Hey BRJP,

It's actually flood protection. Try this.

1. Copy the URL of the thread you're about to post to.
2. Post your topic.
3. While it says it's loading, paste the URL and press enter.

You'll see that the post actually went through, but your browser hasn't loaded yet. Thanks for letting me know though, I'm making changes to my firewall.

Thanks Lawrence.  Let me know when the changes to the firewall has been made and Ill see if there is any improvement.

Of course, I do understand the need for flood protection on a forum so its always going to be performance over protection.

Do you have any update on loosening the flood protection a little?

Sometimes it is taking 15-20 seconds to update the page.
