Hello again  :D

what happens if i change the price of an existing product that are in use of some customers? Will the price also change for existing customers that have the same product with another price?

As example: Customer has a product that costs $2,00 / month, now i change the price to $1,50 or $2,50 because i want that new orders of this product have another price because i give more or less hdd space or something else.

So the question is did i have to create a new product for this or can i use the existing because the price change not effects existing orders!?

P.S. Sorry for my bad english if you can not understand me so good, i try my best  :)

Hey there Dann! Welcome to the forums.

Here's how it works,

1. You update your product's pricing.
2. All future orders will be on the new pricing.
3. All existing orders will remain the same.

Very straight forward. If you want to update all clients' pricing, you'll have to do this manually, but it's easy to do this.

1. Go to the product orderpage you want to change pricing for. (Not the product, I mean the order page the product is on)
2. There should be a number next to the product title (to the right). If you have 2 accounts with that product, it should say "2" total. Click that number
3. Manually adjust the pricing of all services under that listing.

Anything else, feel free to ask.

Awesome. You just saved me a bunch of work in the future just by asking the question @DannYFreSh.

My inclination would have been to just create a new class of service and roll that out each time. Thanks for that tip Lawrence.

You're welcome! Also on another note, if your client upgrades, they will need to pay the updated pricing, so it's Stay on the current plan or incur alternate rates. As long as the client does not change their plan, they'll continue to pay the same rates.
