App for HostBill Support

Does any of the community know if there is an app (or HostBill compatible app via API) that means that our support engineers can reply via iPhone for out of hours work?

Using the iPhone browser to reply to support/customer queries is not that easy on small screen and wondered if something else took the burden out of mobile support communication.

No there isn't.  I was building one for my company and to resell but there wasn't much interest.

I am currently analyzing system- and feature-requirements for a cross-platform(*) mobile app to provide several functions including support.
If anyone is interested, please list your top feature requirements (not necessarily support-related) for such an app.

I have to warn about 2 points though
a) This is currently an _analysis_. Meaning I can't guarantee the project will go through at all or in the described form
b) Due to time constraints I will probably have to feature-freeze the app at version 1.0 and only fix critical bugs. So if you want a feature, now's the time to tell.


* I will either base it on Cordova/Phonegap or CodenameOne depending on the requirements. That makes it technically cross-platform but we are Android-only so all other platforms will have to be provided by other community members if needed.

I am looking to revive this initiative and make using the support function easier from an iPhone.

I have my developer looking at the HostBill API to see if a very simple version can be created that makes managing and replying to support tickets from an iPhone easier.  The ethos is to start basic and build over tine.

Ill keep you posted on progress but wonder if there are still people using HostBill who are interested in such a feature?
