Cloning Widget
« on: January 07, 2014, 02:14:44 PM »
Does someone has any idea how to create a custom widget for hostbill?

There are some cPanel widgets for example, which you can see under /includes/types/widgets

I need to add a second option under a plan that just shows some information but cannot seem to replicate one with success. Copying a widget and trying to manually load it in the browser does not work.

I also tried the rebootsample that is on github but I cannot load it either. Does someone know how its possible to create your own widget?

I could create another page, but I like the option to be on the left menu under the plan and since this are only a few words, the widget idea seems the best approach.

As far as I know (might be wrong) a widget it's linked to a module, in this case of cPanel, the widget must be defined inside cPanel module code, something like /includes/modules/Hosting/cpanel/widgets (I'm just guessing here)... pitifully hostbill doesn't like people watching it's code, it's all encrypted  >:( (even example modules  :o)
