Free Domains, how?

Hi Guys,

How do enable free domains on a hosting package e.g. package 3 = 1 free domain, package four = 3 free domains etc

in an earlier version it was possible to do so configured versions 4.9.0:44. After that it was impossible, so I opened because of this problem bug riport but nothing has changed.

I solved the problem by generating promo codes, and limit the TLD that may be available as a free. I do so as long as Chris does not remember that the blue monitor bug reports


If anyone has an idea let's share it with us

I offer free domain name and a hosting package to certain students but the free domain never works with promo code, any ideas?

In all service you can include and get 1 free domain what you wont.


Products & Services -> Service name ->  solutions 1 -> Components Tab -> Domains - Here you can configure what you wont go gave online free domain.


But if you wont to get free domain with promo code, you must configure next in admin menu Extras. In Extras drop menu you have Promotional Codes if not see you must active in plugin area. When you activate what you need to do.

Extras -> [/size]Promotional Codes -> [/size]Add new code [/size][size=78%][/size]-> [size=78%][/size][/size][size=78%][/size]"generate name" "[size=78%][/size][size=78%][/size]Discount: 100%" "Applies to" select Domains and what domain you get free, and how long "Applicable billing cycles" 1 or more years.[size=78%]

[/size]WARNING!!! If you create this promo code and not select how and does not define how often to take advantage of and when valid, and that if a user wants to buy more of the same domain you can do by financial confusion. Because well define each promo dock, what can do or not.[size=78%]

I done this and it still does not work, maybe it's my custom order pages?

But hostbill has another problem that I can say bug. If a service attitude free domain and define that .com domain will be free if you buy the service for a year, two or three years.






Although I'm all set up, in each case will be. Com domain will be free only on payment of one year in any other case will be charged the full price of the domain for two years or three.

Any idea ?
