HostBill Forums Changelog

In order to keep everyone informed about the changes to the website, I will be posting a standard changelog of changes made to the website. The dates of changes will be marked by the post's postdate, and will be followed by a bulleted list of changes made. This is to keep everyone updated just in case any issues occur.

To report issues, please use the Requests - Suggestions - Feedback board and all issues will be looked into.

• Added Skype profile option.
• Fixed Board Moderator access to standard boards.
• Added Third Party Projects child board to Project Boards - Mods & Addons board.

• Changed colors of HostBill Forum users.
• Added new questions for anti-spam / registration measures.
• Added filters to obfuscate language deemed to be vulgar. Filters may be turned off by individual users manually.
• Disabled language support as the forum is only configured for one language.
• Cleaned up SMF packages in database.
• Increased size per attachment in posts from 2MBs to 4MBs. (Increases to come pending plugins in development section)
• Increased total post attachments size from 4MBs to 16MBs. (Increases to come pending plugins in development section)

• Added search feature to forum menu reducing forum post search time.
• Forums now display who's currently viewing which boards.
• Forum users may now toggle displays of word censoring for vulgar language.

• Forum users may now change their display names.
• Increased members displayed in members index to 50. (Previously reduced for testing purposes)
• Go up / down buttons added to all forum posts for ease of navigation.
• Added simple search feature with link to advanced search.
• Searches limited to one search every 10 seconds.
• Limited search results to 100 posts & 10 pages.
• Plugin developer group membership is available upon request to developers.

• Added Developers Discussion Board to keep projects and development discussions separate.
• Child boards post counts are now counted in the parent boards to show the real post counts.

• Topics pertaining to issues users are having may now be marked as solved with a button at the bottom of a post.
• Minor template changes to get topics working with the solved buttons.

• Added Community Support boards to the forum.
• Moved all support requests to the new community support board.
• Modified stickies in the Forum Rules and Information board.
• Updated the "Forum Rules - Simple" topic with additional rules. (Still easy rules to follow)

• Added a private board for security posts and topics. You must have 25 posts (Be an active participant) for access to this board.

• Moving boards around to reduce forum clutter.
• Moved private Security boards to a child board under Community Support.
• Moved HostBill Guides & Quick Fixes board to a child board under Community Support.
• Moved Project Boards - Mods & Addons to a child board under Developers Discussion Board.
• Moved Third Party Projects board to a child board under Developers Discussion Board.

• Updated forum descriptions to keep forums clean and tight. Text shouldn't wrap anymore for board descriptions.

• John has been added to the list of Community Managers. (Global Moderator)

• Warning system added to the forums for users who violate the rules. Racism will NOT be tolerated.

• Added a petitions board to the forums for users to demonstrate support for a cause in an easy to read, organized fashion for HostBill.

• Allowed size of uploaded attachments doubled. Attachments may now be 2MBs in size.
• Total allowed size of total uploaded attachments doubled per post. Total attachments may now be 8MBs in size.
