Paul

anyone that doesn't have the premium "version" of the module ever get provisioning to work? i put in a license ticket about this stuff, and he acted as if all updates are applying to the "old" modules as well. even though i've seen no file changes to any of the modules ever mentioned in the changelogs...

With it's limited ability, it seems to be working. But we're working on the vCloud module now since there's just too much manual intervention required to use the vmware5 module. It does automatically provision and suspend, and plugs directly into vCenter server so you can pick and choose the hosts, datastores, and iso images, but it's  a nightmare creating hundreds of order pages to support every single possibile configuration and OS so the vCloud module is the way to go.

Check the changelog discussion here and the autoupdate snafu thread about it here for more info on the current version of that module.

I believe that we are actually entitled to the VMware 5 module for free.

I've posted several times regarding this point.

Having said that, however, it might only be the free broken one we're entitled to from kbkp's standpoint, even though there's no place to download that one either anymore.

My vmware5.zip is
NOT where you would expect it under Downloads -> Hosting Integrations
BUT under Services -> Provisioning Modules -> VMWare vSphere 5 Module License
