Suspend/Terminate automatic task issue
« on: July 09, 2018, 01:47:02 AM »
Hello,

I have some issue, daily automatic terminated fail to work 100% , some of the servers are suspended/terminated on SolusVM but hostbill doesn't update the status. I need o manually trigger the automatic tasks to complete the job. How can I set cron job to "Perform auto provisioning tasks like suspend/terminate"  twice a day ?

Thank you

In relation to your thread https://www.hostbillforums.com/index.php/topic,4390.0.html I still think this is a bug and should/needs to be addressed by Hostbill.
I only consider the suggestions a *workaround* until the issue is fixed and not a permanent solution.

Hostbill does not support what you are trying to do, the cron is limited to once per day. To force it to run more often, you need to write some code magic, basically have a script login into hostbill admin and then call the following link:
/admin/?cmd=configuration&action=executetask&task=moduleAutomation&debug=0
I recommend using a library such as ptcong/easyrequest to handle cookie session authentication, it's a bit tricky if you're not used to it.
