Hi,

Does anyone here use either GoCardless or Xero and have you got them working?

We cannot get either working and we are not getting much/any support/feedback from Hostbill.

We failed to get a few gateways working.  HostBill does not have much success in that area.

GoCardless investigated and confirmed it was a Hostbill issue. But, it's like pulling teeth trying to get Hostbill to fix/update their wiki.

Yes - it is a bit frustrating. 

You seem to have a quite a few issues and nags - have you considered looking at alternative solutions?

Getting feedback from Hostbill? Sorry I nearly fell off the chair laughing here 
I haven't worked with that payment provider but through the logs you should be able to see if the callback works correctly and go on from there. 
I don't know how GoCardless handle stuff, but on a custom payment provider I built, it was not Hostbill but rather PHP causing weird issues by cutting off GET parameters where it considers the value to be too long...
