I had or have a forum dedicated to hosting, but nobody besides Lawrence wanted to jump it.

I guess its because of my attitude like Patrick says in another post, but im willing to open it up to external moderators and not bug people around if someone needs a parallel way to discuss hosting related stuff in a small way, not so big or general as WHT.

It was rather designed as company centric, not user centric. So everyone posting something useful was able to advertise in a banner their hosting company or services on each topic.

Don't think when i say something it's against you personally.  When i comment about it, it's about your attitude towards an issue.  Not your everyday attitude.  You're confrontational, but otherwise a good guy.  You're also very stubborn :P  You can have 10 people explaining something to you all in unison and you still argue it, so i'll comment on your attitude towards that issue, not a poor attitude, just how you think of things.  I don't think anyone has any issues with you personally, i sure don't.  You and I had some good convo on the old HB forums.

A somewhat ok reference to what i mean lol: http://gurupinter.wordpress.com/2011/08/18/expressing-attitude-towards-something/

Nah, be who you are.  Don't change that.  Nothing to say sorry or be sorry about.  I just wanted you to know that :)  So where are you now Nibb?  How's business?  Is it just me or are hosting customers becoming more demanding these days.

We think Hostbill has no future due to the last changes so we are already moving our custom development to WHMCS.
It may not be the best but it works.
It has some better features and some worst but even so, ...
It is not as pretty as Hostbill but has some more features that are important to us.

I just hate we have spent money on Hotsbill and now it goes to the toilet...

Well the bonus to WHMCS right now is it's possible future.  Since cPanel merged with them, i have a good feeling it'll become a more integrated software if you use cPanel of course.  Though you'll loose out on a decent IP management software and co-location features.  Even these i believe WHMCS is currently developing.

WHMCS is somewhat listening to the community, they came out with a feature request script, bug reporting, free support in annual fee's and is a stable business.  It is a good choice to go with as i believe cPanel has some big plans for it.   Who knows though

I agree that whmcs future does look promising. I have also contacted developers to see about custom module for whmcs as they still allow it. I will always support hostbill as long as they support me once that changes I don't have to worry about being out as we all would be but until that time comes we need to support them and have a good exit strategy if you don't have one yet. Just like doing backups of your data you need to make sure you are redundant.

If he answered the tickets GREAT.

I am not one to run from paying for support or what we need.
But the blasted guy won't even answer you

I am not going to drop $4K or so when I cannot talk with a developer  - crickets are all we hear sadly
