Hello,

I have life time hostbill license with version Version: 2014-01-16:2014. Today I tried update to Latest Version: 2014-01-23.

I have download full package of hostbill hostbill_version2014-01-23.zip with md5sum: 7ad50f5f0bccb280cbb5e725196553af.

After extracted it, I visit http://myhostbill/install and choice Upgrade. After that (step=1) is just blank page. I did not see any error in our apache.

We are using:

PHP 5.3.26 (cli) (built: Nov  7 2013 11:11:28)
Copyright (c) 1997-2013 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2013 Zend Technologies

Anyone has same problem? how to fix it and upgrade it properly ?

PS. I always upgrade using this method and never get problem since 1 year ago.

Thanks

Hello layerspeed,

I know how you feel, I had a similar problem. It's just that I went the whole database I hope you had a backup over but you're going to update. Look to update HostBill for the admin arena "auto update" and "bug fix" when it sometimes appears to me right now is to become safer, but as you do. Since I worked so then we had not planned work 10 full working days.
If you want something to change your the better, start you thinking about how to do it . . .

Hi SystemN,

thank you for your reply. I always do backup before upgrade anything so I just revert back it after i got blank page.

I tried upgrade from admin interface still out of luck.

Any advice?

when it happens to me kabuuum :o before catastrophic update . Luckily we made a full backup to the base and the entire folder "HostBill". It always works right from version to version of Kris and the company knows that changing a file that worked in the previous version, and to update the file after shot.

In our case, the only solution was to construct a new base complete with new installations. Is database backup that we had not been possible back in any case. Did I send daily questions on the ticket and then wrote the hostbill forum that you need to correct a problem in the then current version that has troubled the base.

They did fix the problem, but often very update database version that we have had to manually step by step be entered right otherwise in any case could not go back. After full 24h 10 working days all system back in normal.

I guess I've already tried to go back to the previous version which you worked. If you can write what you've tried so far, how would you propose to do the same thing twice.

Hi SystemN,

I restore my previous backup and running old version. I will wait for next update and try it again.
