New Tickets - Non Customers

Hey Everyone,

Is there a way to not set the registered user only to view tickets - especially for customers who are looking to become a customer but have not registered on the hostbill customer area yet?

Heres an example.

1. New potential customer sends an e-mail to sales@.....
2. Ticket is created in sales queue and sends new potential customer an e-mail
3. Potential customer receives the e-mail with a link to the ticket.
4. He/She clicks the link to view the ticket but gets the registered_only_error and redirected to a login page.

Any thoughts on this?

Cheers
Shaun

Hello Shaun

Not sure if this is what you are looking for.   ;D

Under Ticket Dept > ie. Sales > Other settings > Select option 'Allow anyone to open support ticket'

Shaun,

I think I understand exactly what you mean - and I am confident our installation of HostBill does this as this is how we operate with 'unregistered' customers.

I can help you test this if you like?  If so, please PM me and we can work through it and then post results back on this thread for wider community benefit.

BRJP

Kind regards,
Bradley Porter
