Hostbill Software is Down

Hostbill websites and servers are down and guess what?

So are all hostbill installations in the world. It seems your admin side does not work at all if they are offline which is a HUGE FLAW on their software. I cannot access my admin area, and a ping connection to their own website is dead.

This means when they are down, so you will be. What is the point of providing a hosting service, investing in a good network, hardware if your whole business is then going to rely on an external server like this case?

The biggest fear I had about this software seems to be true. Your software is completely worthless and will not work if it cannot connect to their servers and website. One of the biggest flaws everyone attacked on WHMCS, it seems Hostbill also decided to implement this single point of failure in their software.

What is the point of hosting the software in your own servers if its not going to work if the are offline?

How awful, really. I can understand if they have servers problems, not sure why they are offline, where they hacked? Are they doing server migration? Are they just down? We are never going to know but why they implemented their software to connected to them in order to work is something I will never understand.

Thank you Hostbill for leaving us offline and not letting us work anymore.

Hello Nibb,
I can confirm, admin HostBill "work"but, very very very slowly, we have a lifetime license and without advertising, which is on our machines.
your admin is on the machines HostBill ? ???

No, my installation is on my own server just like everyone else.

Its slow because website and servers are down. Your software needs to connect to them in order to check license, version, news, etc.

This has happened to me in the same time period. I noticed that their server was offline.
