Forum Registration Instructions

These forums have been the target of massive amounts of spam lately. Spam registrations recently are not automated, so preventing spammer registrations is impossible. Because of this, new procedures are in place for forum registrations. This is simple. All you need to do is send an email, and include the requested information (see below).

• To: registrations@hostbillforums.com
• Subject: HostBill Forum Registration
• Body Line 1: Preferred forum ID / alias (give a list in preferred order).
• Body Line 2: A link to the forum topic you'd like to respond to, or the subject of a topic you'll be posting as your first post.
• Body Line 3: Optional, a link to your HostBill website if you're a current HostBill user. There are hidden restrictions to unconfirmed HostBill users (e.g. throttling to prevent spam).

Please allow 24 hours for your account to be registered. You will be registered under the address you send your email from.

I will be relaxing post restrictions soon after this week, so there won't be any verification captchas at all for those with less than 5 posts.

Thank you for understanding everyone, and sorry about the recent influx of spam that hit these forums the past few days. I hate to go this route, but because these registrations are being done by humans behind a spam captcha service provider, it's 100% impossible to prevent spam registrations or stop them on time before they begin posting spam.
