Canned Responses do not appear in Live Chat

Hi there,

I've configured one Canned Responses category and added three new canned responses to it. When having a live chat with someone I was expected to see those available, listed in Canned Responses text box. Though, nothing appears there but default text message stating that I don't have yet canned responses configured.

Am I missing anything here? Maybe I have to activate some plugin or something else for those to be shown as my options. Please advise.

I'm using the latest version of HB - Version: 4.7.8:4407 that became available just today.

HostBill has been taking features away from it's users so it's likely in the process he broke the live chat feature. I have all my files so it works fine for me. See if you can open up a licensing ticket with KBKP and get the full live chat script from him and see if that fixes it.

Hi Lawrence,

I did open a licensing ticket as you suggested with my issue description. Guess what KBKP folks did?!

They just silently closed the ticket, no any comment was added. I even didn't get an email notification on a ticket closure action. Just like that.

I had a similar kind of unpleasant experience with KBKP support in a past. Though, I thought they overgrew this phase in their evolution for the past half year but it seems not the case.

So, what my options are now? How to get this addressed?

Hi there,

I've figured out what was wrong here. It was my bad, I didn't activate canned responses by clicking the star next to each newly created canned response.

Now everything is working the way it was expected.
