[Feature Update] Proxmox module update

Hey guys I would like to have a petition started for a proxmox module update/fix

There have been plenty of updates and new features added to proxmox that I would like added as well as some that are still not working.

The Option to select different nodes from different clusters during ordering still doesn't work and never has.

Would like to have updated storage options " IDE and Virtio are listed want SATA and SCSI added".

The ipam module for proxmox doesn't work correctly and you can only select 1 pool from the app list so when clients order they will only get ips from one pool so If I have 3 different subnets for ipv4 and a few for ipv6 you can only select one list to pool ips from then when that pool is used up you have to select another one it's really a pain to constantly update the order when you can just select more than one pool.

when changing or updating the ips assigned to the client doesn't update in the admin or client interface.

Client side when you console the vm the screen size doesn't show up correctly I had a ticket with hostbill about 1 year with no update on it.

Shutdown feature doesn't issues a shutdown command to the vm.

Should have the option to change the installation image used from client portal if they want to choose something else they should have that choice.

Not all the ips assigned to the client shows up in their interface and also the subnet and gateway don't show either which for clients that don't understand networking they have to submit a ticket to ask.

What do you guys think can we make a petition?

I don't think a petition is going to fall upon anything but deaf ears. The so-called bugtracker is worthless too.

If you want something done you can first pay the CEO to ask him a presales question, at which point you will have the opportunity to ask how much it will cost to have those features added.

It won't do any good, but if you post links I'll help you out with signing your petition and voting up a bug for you in the fake bug tracker too.

Proxmox 3.0 doesn't work with hostbill is there anyone who has had luck adding this or knows how to modify the module to allow it to connect to the servers.

I don't personally use proxmox (at least not at this time), but even though it's a module, considering how HostBill is put together I actually consider it part of core so it should be updated (hopefully without breaking it) instead of releasing new CSS enhancements.

I must edit the request and make it clear. The module loads the node, a node. what i need is.

1. The ability to add multi master nodes from different clusters as of now it only works with 1. So if your not running clusters and you have separate nodes you can't have it auto assign and it wont show up in the list if you select both.

2. Add the ability to change the controller type used for storage, add all the storage types that proxmox uses.

3. Fix the console interface for client portal. Has never worked properly when you use certain os and load the console you will only see half the screen, you have to zoom your browser in to open the console bigger. It should be more fluid, they have the SPICE protocol almost added so i would like to see that integrated http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/SPICE.

4. Add the ability to add secondary storage in client area.

5. Ability to do backups in the client portal and a choice to dl them if they want.

6. The ability to change the os from the client portal. Admin ability to give them choices from a list.

I now its a list but proxmox hosts have increase drastically, It very stable, open source, the ability to do both openvz and kvm on one node is great, this give the admins more options and less hardware needed to setup clusters.
