I had HostBill that was hosted with a hosting company, everything worked fine with my SMTP with Office 365. I recently switched hosting providers, and now am having an issue where I entered everything as it had been before and HostBill's SMTP test is giving me this error: "Error: TLS "

Attached is a screenshot of my settings.

Are you sure the SMTP Hostname needs the 'TLS://' part in the front?
Kind regards,

Yes that is rarely the case (TLS://) - just try the hostname and port numbers specified by the providers - better yet, use MailGun.com - this, from the HostBill wiki:

https://hostbill.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DOCS/Using+Mailgun+to+send+emails+from+HostBill

Also make sure that the applicable ports are open on any firewalls.

use:

# iptables -L

and also consider scanning your box from the outside with nmap - those pesky 'web application firewalls' are often really good at messing things up lolz.

I hope that helps!
