pre-Enterprise Hostbill License holders, are you getting charged for updates?

Hey guys,

I bought my license in 2013 way before the massive price overhaul happened. I can't remember what the guarantee was for legacy licenses but I can't seem to download the latest updates now. I'm now charged renewal updates unlike before. I downloaded the last updates around May 2016.

Anyone knows how to contact them properly?

Hi,

It has been some time since HB have made it mandatory for all clients to pay yearly renewal charges for receiving updates & bug fixes. So, you would have to renew to get latest updates.

Note: If you do want to renew then buy the service pack @ http://hostbillapp.com/upgrades/, which would also give you a free support ticket.

That is unfortunate, but the service pack is better than just renewal. May I know if the support ticket allows multiple concerns throughout the year or not? I'm not sure how that works.

The service pack includes 1 support ticket with one bugreport/request for assistance. If the ticket gets closed by them (him) for whatever reason, you'll have to buy another one.
Additional bugreports you want to actually have fixed and not simply ignored cost the usual support ticket price.
