I have noticed that a bug in proxmox module is allowing clients to create vps without having the required amount of free ips to build them.

Cloud systems a client orders resources memory, disk space, cpu, ips. Say he orders 1 ip but 2G memory and 50G space 2 cpus. He can build 2 vms and it will give him another ip for free without charge. It should restrict the client from creating the vms unless they have free ips in the resources. Even better there is no option in the upgrade section in the client interface to order more ips just memory cpu and disk space.

Any advice or suggestion?

Seriously though, submit a bug report and post the link back here and a bunch of us will vote it up. That's a critical issue.

Too bad you'll have to wait *at least* another week for a fix.

Its not allowing me to login to the bug portal with my client portal information I can login to the normal client interface but not the bug portal. I can't summit a support ticket to get access either  :'(

I am still having issues logging in the bug reporting section of hostbill with a subaccount. Can anyone verify that if you have sub accounts setup in your hostbill client interface that you can login with that information or do you require only the main account information? I have techs setup with a subaccount to report bugs but they can't access that section of hostbill.

I expressed my doubts toward that too.

But they appear to be two different systems - a sort of kludge, if you ask me. Here's why...

First, you would typically (although not required) login to your regular client area. Then you would login to the so-called bug reporting area at help.hostbillapp - it appears to be a separate installation of hostbill and it's certainly under a separate virtualhost, although I think it shares the same user tables from the MariaDB database, and although I haven't checked, it's prolly also on the same physical machine.

So, at the very least, considering that may people here had to do a password reset in the main client area in order to enable access to the bug reporting system, you may want to do that for your "Additional Contacts".

And because it appears to be nothing but another stripped down HostBill install, I think you may also need to, or at least you can try, creating "Additional Contacts" in the bug system too, if the first method doesn't work.

Lemme know k? I have little use for the bug reporter - kbkp is historically almost always all lies when it comes to that anyway, and it's a really crappy system with no tracking, and no way to see what, if any assignment/escallation/acceptance, or additional contributed comments by others - it's just plain hokey.

I have posted two bugs there though, one was listed as fixed in the changelog (it wasn't fixed at all - they lied about fixing it), and the other, nothing was ever done about it. I will vote up critical bugs when someone posts a link in this forum though, just out of community spirit.

Anyway, lemme know if either one of those methods seems to work for you k?

I have the same issues even when i rest the subaccount pw this is the error is get.

Bug report system is for active customers only with positive account balance
E-mail and/or password is incorrect

I have no balance and the e-mail and pw were just update with no results.
